BIBHUTIBHUSAN Bandyopadhyay is one of the the most important names in the field of Bengali literature. He was born on 12th September in the year 1894. His parents were Mahananda and Mrinalini Devi. He got his early education at Bongaon high school and then completed his intermediate and graduation from repon college, now known as Surendra Nath College of Kolkata. He began his career at headmaster at JANGIPARA high SCHOOL.
Later he joint harinavi Anglo Sanskriti institution. His novels are highly at merit by the readers specially for their descriptive qualities. Some of his famous Work ka Pathar Panchali, oporajito, Chander Pahar etc on 1st November 1958 the age of only 56 this great talented author passed away.
